The objective of this website is informative and, I hope educational. I have learned through my experience in the Performing Arts that there is a direct link between cultural change and development of people and those who govern them. To quote a former American President--known to many as "The Great Communicator"--"THE ARTS TELL US WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE CAN BE".

Dr. Billy Taylor, pianist, educator, correspondent for CBS Sunday Morning, said "Jazz is America's Classical Music--America's gift to the world".

My hope is that at least one person exposed to this website will explore the origins of indigenous American Culture and gain an understanding about the Arts, their reflection of culture and the ability of art to shape and influence cultural, political and personal change.
